“The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” is an upcoming thriller film based from the award-winning crime novel by Swedish author and journalist Stieg Larsson, the first in his “Millennium series”.
The upcoming film is written by Steven Zaillian and directed by David Fincher (The Social Network). Daniel Craig (Casino Royale, Cowboys and Aliens) stars as Mikael Blomkvist, and Rooney Mara stars as Lisbeth Salander. The film is scheduled to be released in the United States and Canada on December 21, 2011.
